These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Lift Beauty’s website, services, and employment or contractual engagement. By booking an appointment, receiving services, accessing our website, or working with Lift Beauty, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging with Lift Beauty as a client, staff member, contractor, or visitor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
**Failure to sign or acknowledge required consent forms may result in refusal of service or termination of engagement.
2. Clinical Authority & Scope of Practice
Lift Beauty is operated by a CNO-registered nurse and provides medical aesthetic and wellness services within the scope of nursing practice in Ontario.
All treatments:

  • Require a clinical assessment

  • Are elective and results are not guaranteed

  • Are performed according to professional and regulatory standards

Lift Beauty reserves the right to decline or discontinue treatment if it is deemed clinically inappropriate or unsafe.
3. Consent & Refusal to Sign
Clients

  • All clients must complete and sign required intake, medical history, treatment consent, and privacy forms

  • If a client refuses or fails to sign, Lift Beauty may:

    • Decline treatment

    • Cancel appointments without penalty to the clinic

    • Terminate the client-provider relationship

Staff & Contractors

  • All staff and contractors must sign:

    • Confidentiality agreements

    • Scope of role acknowledgments

    • Privacy and professional conduct agreements

Failure to sign required documentation may result in:

  • Ineligibility for work

  • Suspension or termination of engagement

4. Photography & Media Consent
Clinical Photography
By receiving services at Lift Beauty, clients acknowledge that clinical photographs may be taken for:

  • Medical documentation

  • Treatment planning

  • Progress tracking

  • Legal and regulatory compliance

These photographs form part of the medical record and are protected under Ontario privacy laws.
Marketing & Educational Use
Unless explicitly declined in writing, clients consent to the use of de-identified photographs or videos for:

  • Marketing

  • Educational purposes

  • Social media

  • Website or promotional materials

**Clients may opt out at any time by notifying Lift Beauty in writing.
**Opting out does not affect care or treatment.
Lift Beauty will never publish identifying images without clear, documented consent.
5. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Services

  • All medical aesthetic services are final sale

  • No refunds are provided once treatment has been administered

  • Results vary and are not guaranteed

Products

  • Unopened retail products may be eligible for exchange only, at the clinic’s discretion

  • Opened or used products are non-refundable

Deposits

  • Deposits are non-refundable

  • Missed or late cancellations may result in forfeiture of deposit

Lift Beauty reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to clinical, safety, or operational reasons.
6. No Medical Guarantee Disclaimer
Medical aesthetic treatments involve inherent risks and individual variability.
Lift Beauty does not guarantee:

  • Specific cosmetic outcomes

  • Longevity of results

  • Absence of side effects or complications

Clients acknowledge that:

  • Results may vary

  • Touch-ups or additional treatments may be required at additional cost

  • Dissatisfaction alone does not warrant a refund

7. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete medical history

  • Follow pre- and post-treatment instructions

  • Disclose any changes in health or medications

  • Communicate concerns promptly

Failure to do so may impact results and safety.
8. Staff & Contractor Conduct
Staff and contractors are expected to:

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times

  • Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards

  • Represent Lift Beauty respectfully and professionally

Any breach of confidentiality, misconduct, or scope violations may result in immediate termination.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Lift Beauty is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Liability is limited to the cost of the service provided

Nothing in these terms limits liability where prohibited by law.
10. Modifications
Lift Beauty reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
